Terms of Use

isma is a platform for German university students to share academic study materials (lecture notes, exam preparations, summaries) with peers from the same courses.

1. Acceptable content

You may upload only academic study materials you have a right to share: your own notes, exam preparations you prepared, summaries of public lectures. You may NOT upload: copyrighted textbooks, published exam papers without permission, materials marked as confidential by the lecturer, personal data of others, hate speech, spam, or illegal content.

2. Moderation

All uploaded documents and proposed courses are subject to moderator review. Moderators may remove content that violates these terms. Repeated violations may result in account suspension (ban) — banned accounts cannot upload, comment, or vote, but their content remains visible with an «Author banned» badge.

3. Account

You are responsible for activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information (real email for verification). You may delete your account at any time via Settings — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

4. Liability

isma provides no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of user-shared materials. Use them at your own risk. isma is not liable for damages arising from reliance on shared content.

5. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by German law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at the operator's registered seat (see Impressum).
